Once Sox's balls drop and he decides to get on AIM, I'll talk with him. "Not very helpful players" are the players he requested. When we talked, he gave me a list of players he wanted. I gave him every single one (or just about) from that list. He wanted Smith the FB, Williams the WR, etc.

Essentially, what it comes down to is I am getting a 98, 98, 96, and depth. He is getting a 98, 94, 89, 88, 85 all who would start for him, and several other players who may or may not start for him.

Sure, it might be easy to stick in a low 90s to make it even IN HIS EYES, but the fact remains that PatFan wanted ALL those players, due to the number of holes he was trying to fill. So perhaps if Sox stopped looking at this trade from HIS perspective, and looked at it from OUR perspective, then he'd realize this is a very equal trade. Not to mention he wouldn't be appearing like a backstabber.

I have sent a PM to Patfan. We'll be starting over from Troy for Adrian, because I'm not willing to add more to an equal trade, and the fact because a few retarded TC members don't bother to look at trades from the GMs perspectives.

How many players reach 90+ in Madden? And how many players are drafted each year?

It doesn't take a genius to see that rookies shouldn't be rated as established superstars.

At any rate, if I was on TC, I would look at it from the perspective that the GMs involved DO value picks highly, and would approve this trade.

Why?

Off of the top of my head. Notice how 6 of the people I listed were top 10 picks? Yeah, thats why their valued very highly. Im pretty positive theirs also a lot more players that I forgot because that list was off of the top of my head.

When I do an occasional trade that is completely fair and it is denied, yet those who spend more time on here and are on TC get much less equal trades to be approved, you'd be irritated as well.

Look at this trade from the perspective of picks being important, I would say Burgess + #37 would be roughly = Reed + 4th

Then you have an aging Bannan, who is also on a 1 year deal; a teamless, drug crazed Jones, whose rating is going to fall, and we will have to see if he even gets signed (suspension is almost certain) for basically the #5 overall pick? Even if you took the 4th out of the first equation (probably should), this is still heavily unfair.

Amazed at the varying levels of leniency in this league.
