It's not up to me but I'll ask my friend. I'm not sure I also stated this but we're already 8 weeks into the league.

This just happened and I thought it was funny;

I was playing with my franchise against the colts, on all-pro, 10min quarters, anyway with 3 seconds left I returned an INT for a touchdown bringing my point total to 114, and then this message came up on the bottom of the screen:

"Please stop scoring or you might break the game"

lol

How long are your quarters?

IMO the funnest franchises are with cupcake teams, and then i set rules for myself like no getting players over 26 until I make the playoffs. I went 8-8 last season, but my team is literally so bad. They average at least 3 fumbles a game for no reason.

10 min quarters for that game, normally I just do 5.

my main franchise was done with a fantasy draft where I only drafted rookies; after the draft anyone with a C potential or worse got cut/traded for a rookie with A or B potential. Im in the 3rd year, from what I remember this is what my team looks like:

that's a pretty cool idea. madden 10 has a ton of progression, which is good (the older ones barely had any).

Just merged all the Madden threads to make it more organized.

holy shit i think madden hates me. i was playing a game on my franchise, and my offense was WAY off. i couldn't rush for more than 2 ypc, but that happens to me sometimes because my skill level is maxed at rushing (also, it was the steelers d). but in the passing game, i was literally missing guys by 20 feet. every pass. thankfully, the one thing he could do is hit screens, and i won 21-19 cuz my D came up clutch.

Madden is a douche. I made a QB and he got drafted by the Jets and he was 69 ovr, Sanchez was 73 or w/e and I started over him (of course) and then after the season I led the league in Passing Yards and some other categories and I led my team to the playoffs and all that jazz and some how at the end, Mark Sanchez progressed to 83 and I was 73. So riding the bench makes you go up some how.

his potential. i tried a superstar, but it still sucks. they're never gonna fix it, are they? i almost liked it better back in 05 and 06.

I just find it annoying that in order to make the game harder, Madden makes it impossible. Like All-Madden is too easy, so I play on my skill level (basically maxed at everything except passing D which is at All Madden level). But that means I'm missing throws by a ton, and when I run the ball my OL gets pwned on a regular basis. That at least I can understand, but the other thing is guys fumble the ball left and right... I had a game with 6 fumbles. Just like wtf (2 of them I was even holding protect ball). Make it realistic.

play on pro or all-pro (depending on how good you are)

go to settings > CPU Skill > turn everything up to 100%

its so easy because theyre default set at 50%, so the CPU only plays at 50% of their capabilities

yea when I do it I see a noticeable change

k i'll try that out. i was getting pretty frustrated lol.

Thats still fucking stupid, he should go up like 8 pts when he had a total of like 12 yards all year.
