Really? Yet you bitch that sims wants to trade his top 10 pick for Dansby and that its unfair because Dansbys worth more? Look at it from their perspective. The trade council did their job, it kept PatsFan from ruining his team, stop your bitching and move on.

So in your view, #1 overall is too much for Dansby, correct?

Now, imagine that in the real drat, Stafford goes #1. Now imagine 2 years later he is still a low 80s rating, just like Russell currently is. Do you think it is a fair trade?

Again, my opinion is that draft picks are not worth so much, BUT, and here is where you and I differ, I'm not a dick and looking at that deal from MY perspective, I would judge it based on WHO is actually INVOLVED, what THEY believe, and based on that, I would approve it. Not because I think DP are worth so much. But because of what THEY think, which is what SHOULD be done when viewing a trade.

BTW, I guarantee you those 'countless studs' taken in the first round are greatly outweighed by those average players looking back over the past 3 years (and longer).
