If you control a player who is not in Madden 2010, you may keep his rights if he is in a later game. This is good for rookies and guys who retired but who may come back *cough*Brett Favre*cough*. You can control up to 8 players' rights... however, do note that contract rules still apply.

If you do not post them before the Week 1 sim, you will lose their rights.

You can trade a players rights in a deal if you want, TC can value the player as they choose.

Who had him last year? As long as the team didn't release him or trade him, they still have his rights.

omg...You have their rights but they are NOT in this game. Say Eric Alexander who right now technically does not exist in madden starts all year and puts up 30 sacks and is a 95 next year, you would get to keep him and get him as a 95 next year.
