They just got flat out beaten by the Titans... they really don't have a sense of urgency.

wait what? they dont have a sense of urgency? when you're in the nfl urgency doesnt matter unless you're rebuilding.

What? Urgency doesn't matter unless you're rebuilding? Of course urgency matters... if you don't have the right attitude, you're probably not gonna win.

what do you mean by urgency? Because I think you're referring to desire, not urgency

Don't act like I posted one Giants hit in a game that the Steelers dominated . . . they lost.

PS -- Any playoff team who "play[s] their best football in the playoffs" will win the superbowl.

PPS -- Go Saints!

Every team has a need to win the superbowl, and every player wants to win the superbowl.

Just because the steelers didnt beat the #1 ranked team in the NFL doesnt mean they dont have the need to win. Their defense is getting old yet theyve put together the best defense in the NFL, can they do it again next year? maybe not. If you're playing at a level that the Steelers are then you better believe that "the need to win" is going through all of their heads

Not necessarily...The Texans best football wouldnt win them a superbowl, neither would the Bills, Raiders, Chiefs or Seahawks and I cant tell if thats a shot at the Saints or not but if it is, their defense was RIDDLED with injuries ALL season and it wasnt a top 10 unit to begin with, hard to win when your already bad pass defense loses both its starting CBs, starting SS and starting FS.

You know, there can be an arguement for the Texans. They acutally have a beast football team.

Nah their DL is horrible with the exception of Mario Williams, their LBs are decent with the exception of Demeco Ryans and their secondary is decent. Their offense is good but their defense loses them games.

It's not that they didn't want to win, they just showed a real lack of intensity... games like that need to be treated almost like a playoff game, but they just came out flat.

if we've learned anything from last year its that games like that dont determine the outcome of a playoff game. Patriots beat out the Giants week 17 and then lost to them in the superbowl.

They won that game 38-35, it was a pretty close game and the Giants played really well.
