Wow those are rough - Freeman a 71???

Madden is WAY too tough on the rookies nowadays.

there is a new scale of ratings...so everybody is gonna have a lower rating...could you reely see pat white getting a 61 rating?

no they arent, theyre rookies, even matt ryan was raw garbage in his first few games in the nfl. Theyre there to be sculpted and very rarely do you see immediate impact within the first game or two. Im glad the best rated rookie each year is like 85, its something EA actually gets right in the game.

I know Ryan's first career pass was a long TD, and I'm not sure of the stats but I'll look it up later for his first few games.

And even then, they need to have better player progression if they're gonna rate rooks low.
